PMI Thumb Chapter Oct 2019 Dinner Meeting

Join us for the PMI Thumb Chapter Meeting - 10/09/2019

TOPIC: Creating Project Leadership Culture Based on PMP Best Practices

PDU: 1 - Leadership

SPEAKER:  Richard Broo, President of True North PMP Consulting, Inc.

This will highlight issues caused by leadership that hinders a project manager's performance, how to avoid them, and best practices a PM can use to educate leadership about effective project management.

Company leadership can hinder the success of a project by failing to do their due diligence prior to project initiation and/or changing baseline priorities with regards to project scope, time and cost once a project has launched. It is the project manager’s responsibility to mitigate this risk up-front in a project by educating company leadership on what constitutes a solid project charter and project management plan.

Come learn some basic tools that could help avoid “management creep” into a project.
