TOPIC: Leveraging Emotional Intelligence for Project Management Success

ABSTRACT:

Much of the preparation and development of Project Managers hinges on strong cognitive abilities (IQ) and a technical/procedural mindset. Yet the success of Project Manages rests heavily on strong personal/socio/relational (EI) capabilities and a reflective, open mindset. In this fast paced 1.5 hour seminar, you will:

- Gain insight into Emotional Intelligence, what it is and how you can use it as a Project Manager.

- Develop an awareness of the Personal and Social EI competencies and apply them to your approach to project management.

- Identify characteristics of the emotionally intelligent Project Manager.

- Gain insight and increase effectiveness by mapping your emotions to your key project management activities.

- Learn the importance of and how to more accurately read and interpret emotions; yours and others.

- Identify EI strengths and developmental opportunities.

- Explore ways and strategies to strengthen your EI.
